small nitrogen generator
| Compact formats | Bench gas unit, narrow floor cabinet or compact membrane enclosure |
|---|---|
| Bench external W × D × H (mm) | 380 × 540 × 256 |
| Narrow cabinet W × D × H (mm) | 449 × 406.5 × 1235 |
| Compact membrane W × D × H (mm) | 560 × 285 × 1150 |
| Demand selections | Low-flow analytical duties or point-of-use industrial supply, selected at the required quality |
| Air supply | Integrated compressor or a suitable external compressed-air connection |
| Controls | Pressure regulation, gas-quality indication and demand-operation options |
| Installation needs | Ventilation, service access, compatible tubing and destination power supply |
These are different equipment formats, not interchangeable sizes of one rated model. External air preparation and any gas buffer are additional to the listed enclosure dimensions.
A compact nitrogen package can be customized for the point-of-use demand, gas quality and available installation space.
A small nitrogen generator is useful when the gas demand and installation space are both limited. Compactness should be assessed across the complete supply arrangement, including any compressor, treatment equipment and service access. A small separation cabinet may rely on substantial equipment elsewhere.
Find out what has been left outside the cabinet
A small generator connected to a plant air supply can occupy little local floor space. That advantage depends on the compressor and treatment equipment already being available and suitable. If those items must be added, compare their combined footprint and operating cost with an integrated unit.
An under-bench position also needs a route for warm exhaust air, tubing and maintenance. The clearance required to replace a filter or remove a cover may determine whether the location is practical.
Choose the duty before choosing the smallest box
A narrow high-purity gas unit and a compact membrane unit may serve very different requirements. Establish the quality and flow the process needs at the same time. A smaller product-flow value at a stricter purity is not a defect; it is part of the separation duty.
Short bursts may be handled with a suitable buffer, but storage cannot cover a permanent production deficit. If the process runs longer or another consumer is added, reassess the supply instead of relying on the apparent spare volume of a receiver.
Keep the installation easy to live with
Consider nearby workstations, instrument intakes and the maintenance route. A unit that is quiet enough for one location may still be inconvenient when placed directly beneath an operator's desk or beside sensitive measurement equipment. Use the actual equipment data and the room arrangement to choose its position.
Compact installations still need an assessment of nitrogen release and ventilation. Product gas must be routed to its intended use, and leaks or exhaust must not accumulate in enclosed spaces.
Send the gas requirement and a usable installation-space description to shengtongJH. For an analytical duty, include the instrument information described on laboratory nitrogen generator; for broader utility supply, review nitrogen generator.
