Cleanroom paper reduces the contamination associated with ordinary paper handling while supporting records, labels or printed instructions. Selection should address particle release, printing compatibility and the way documents enter and leave the area. Changing the sheet alone does not control contamination from a printer, binder or outer carton.
The sheet and the document are different purchases
Choose size and weight around the actual record. A form that is repeatedly handled has different stiffness and durability needs from a temporary instruction sheet. Berkshire's cleanroom paper information describes treated cellulose intended to reduce fibre and particle release and offers several paper weights. These are product-specific characteristics, not proof that every coated sheet has equivalent performance.
Decide whether loose sheets, a controlled notebook or a bound document best fits the workflow. Cut edges, perforations, bindings and page removal can create handling differences. Avoid introducing ordinary accessories that undermine the purpose of the selected paper.
Qualify the printing route
Check the chosen paper against the printer and imaging process, including feed reliability, toner or ink adhesion and any permitted thermal treatment. A readable print before processing may become unsuitable after the intended handling or cleaning exposure. Use a representative form and ordinary operating settings for the trial.
Where printing occurs outside the controlled area, define packaging removal and document transfer. Where it occurs inside, the printer itself needs an appropriate location and maintenance arrangement. Stocking cleanroom paper does not qualify an ordinary printer for direct placement beside exposed product.
Keep records usable and traceable
Colour can distinguish forms or zones, but the colour system should remain consistent and readable. Select compatible writing tools and ensure the document retains the required information during its approved life. Sterile supply, low ionic contamination and low particle release are separate purchasing requirements.
Review cleanroom paper options and A4 sheets. Tell shengtongjh how the record will be printed and handled so paper format and packaging can fit the documentation process.
