cleanroom doors ksa
| Door arrangement | Single leaf; double leaf; active leaf with narrower secondary leaf |
|---|---|
| Nominal door sizes, W × H × T (mm) | 900 × 2100 × 42; 1828 × 2100 × 42 |
| Surface | Coated steel skin; colour and coating selected for the cleaning regime |
| Frame and edges | Formed steel or aluminium frame; sealed perimeter junction |
| Hardware | Stainless hinges and lever; closer, kick plate and vision-panel options |
| Access | Manual operation; interlock or powered operation by matched package |
Size options describe the nominal door format. The structural opening, outside frame and clear passage are specified separately; configuration approval governs the supplied assembly.
Door construction, control interfaces and documentation can be configured for the Saudi Arabian project requirements.
Cleanroom door procurement for KSA projects benefits from an agreed technical submittal before production release. The door schedule, control requirements and import documentation should describe the same supplied assembly.
Use the submittal to settle the opening
The project drawing should distinguish the wall opening, outside frame and clear passage. It should also identify the leaf arrangement, handing, glazing and hardware. A general catalogue page rarely resolves the frame connection to the actual partition or the position of an access reader.
Where different contractors supply the panels, doors and controls, the interfaces should be reviewed together. Missing backing or an incompatible lock signal can delay installation even though each supplier delivered its own stated scope.
Keep performance requirements separate
Room boundary
Define cleaning, sealing and movement requirements for the process. A smooth surface alone does not establish the room classification.
Fire opening
Required fire and smoke performance needs evidence for the complete doorset and supporting construction, including permitted hardware and glazing.
Powered access
Define activation, movement protection, interlock response and emergency behaviour with the selected operator and site systems.
Classify the actual consignment
Saudi Arabia's SABER platform supports product registration, conformity certificates and shipment certificates. The importer and relevant conformity parties should establish the route for the actual classified door assembly and any electrical accessories before shipment.
A manual metal door and a package containing powered equipment should not be assumed to have identical documentation requirements. A destination keyword on a quotation is not a conformity approval.
Make the records agree
Material descriptions, quantities, model or assembly references and packing identities should be consistent across the approved schedule and commercial documents. If the configuration changes after review, the affected documents need to follow that change.
Keeping accessory cartons linked to their opening numbers helps prevent a correct door being installed with the wrong closer, lock or control device.
Distinguish factory checks from installed acceptance
A pre-dispatch fitting check can establish that the supplied leaf, frame and hardware operate together. It cannot prove the final wall seal, site wiring or behaviour under the building pressure conditions. The project acceptance plan should identify what is demonstrated before dispatch and what is completed on site.
shengtongjh coordinates the procurement package. Local installation, project approvals and ongoing maintenance are assigned through the order; this page does not imply a Saudi factory or service branch.
Review fire rated cleanroom doors where the opening has a fire-protection duty, or automatic door controls where the main interface is powered access.
