Synthetic leather is a manufactured upholstery material. Confirm its composition, cleaning compatibility and ESD grade with the selected configuration.
Upholstery, seat height and caster requirements can be configured around your operating conditions.
The PT-020621 uses upholstered seating for tasks where cushioning is preferred to a molded PU surface. The pictured chair has a compact padded backrest, a covered back support and a metal caster base.
Cushioning for seated assembly work
The upholstered seat offers a softer contact surface than the molded PU styles in the range. The compact padded back and open sides can suit a workstation where the operator alternates between leaning toward a small assembly and sitting upright to inspect it.
Comfort depends on the seat's fit, working height and task duration. Check the chosen seat with the actual bench and operator garments. A padded surface does not correct a bench that is too high, insufficient legroom or frequently used parts positioned out of reach.
Protect the upholstery during cleaning
Surface compatibility
Match the cleaning agent and contact time to the selected synthetic covering. Repeated exposure can matter more than a single wipe during an initial trial.
Edges and joints
Clean around the lower seat edge and back support without forcing liquid into the upholstery. Inspect loose coverings, cracks and exposed cushioning.
Replacement planning
Keep the seat, back and caster specification with the purchase record so replacement parts do not change the chair's fit or electrical behavior.
Specify the assembled chair, not just the covering
An ESD upholstery option is only one part of a working seating system. The seat and back need an effective route through the chair to the compatible floor interface; the required configuration should be verified rather than inferred from black upholstery.
The source configuration does not establish cleanroom particle performance, a disinfectant rating or a load certification. Where these properties are relevant, include the required acceptance evidence in the order specification. For a wider upholstered back on a visible flat support, compare the PT-020921.
