The FT-825121 is a backless PU stool for work areas where access from several directions matters. A round seat avoids a prescribed front edge, while the fixed-glide base provides a stationary alternative to a caster stool.
Approach the task from more than one side
A round, backless seat is useful around compact test fixtures, small inspection tables and short-duration assembly tasks where the operator changes orientation. There is no backrest to define a single approach direction or to collide with an adjacent fixture when the stool is repositioned.
The absence of a back also sets a practical limit: this stool does not provide the back support of a conventional chair. Evaluate it for the real task cycle rather than choosing it solely because it occupies less visible space.
Seat access and base clearance are different measurements
Above the seat
Allow room for the operator to handle parts, turn toward a tray and move away from the bench. The adjustment lever should remain accessible after the stool is in position.
At floor level
The base projects beyond the seat. Check clearance against bench feet, pedals and cable covers. A compact seat cannot compensate for a base that conflicts with the equipment beneath the worktop.
Choose the stool for the complete environment
The textured PU seat can be wiped between users, but its surface, underside and fasteners should all be included in the cleaning routine. Avoid cleaners that leave an insulating film on surfaces relied upon for static control, and assess any cleaning change before widespread use.
For ESD work, specify an electrically suitable seat and complete path through the base and floor contacts. Verify the finished configuration instead of relying on the color of the seat. For sustained seated work, compare a back-supported model; for a high bench, consider whether separate foot support is needed.
