Product specifications
| Spec | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Jet format | Directed nozzle banks, with adjustable outlets where selected; aim established around the intended garment or load surfaces. |
| Outside W × D × H | Single-sided reference: 1200 × 1000 × 2100 mm. Opposing reference: 1400 × 1000 × 2100 mm. Extended reference: 1400 × 1500 × 2100 mm. |
| Inside clear W × D × H | Compact references: 800 × 910 × 1980 mm. Extended reference: 800 × 1410 × 1980 mm. |
| Reference outlet counts | 6 for the listed single-sided reference; 12 for compact opposing jets; 18 for the extended reference. Count alone does not define coverage. |
| Outlet material and access | Cleanable stainless outlet option; accessible surrounds and fixings for cleaning or replacement. |
| Supply and return | Plenum and blower matched to outlet distribution, filtration resistance and unobstructed return paths. |
| Final filtration | Documented HEPA option with a matched seal and frame; accessible prefilter upstream. |
| Sequence and power | Adjustable exposure duration and coordinated doors; site-matched voltage, phase and frequency. |
| Airflow reference | Agreed measuring location and operating condition retained for comparison after filter service or nozzle adjustment. |
Reference sizes and outlet counts for configuration planning. Final dimensions and nozzle positions follow the approved configuration drawing.
Nozzle heights, angles and chamber dimensions can be arranged for the exposed surfaces, standing movement and installation space.
Nozzles concentrate filtered airflow into directed jets. Position, angle and the return path decide how that air reaches garment surfaces.
A strong jet still needs a useful target
A nozzle directs air towards the operator, helping disturb loose particles on the outer garment. Its effect depends on distance, direction and the surface exposed. A jet aimed past the user's shoulder is not improved merely by increasing the fan setting. Likewise, arms held tightly against the body can shield garment areas from the intended airflow.
Adjustable outlets allow the jet field to be set around the standing position, but unrestricted adjustment can also leave the pattern inconsistent. Establish the intended angles during commissioning, record them where useful and avoid treating the outlets as personal comfort controls.
Reference outlet layouts and the space they serve
These source-based examples are useful for discussing nozzle placement. Dimensions are mm, W × D × H. Final dimensions and the outlet arrangement follow the approved configuration drawing.
| Example arrangement | Outside cabinet | Inside clear space | Outlet layout to review |
|---|---|---|---|
| One-sided compact shower | 1200 × 1000 × 2100 | 800 × 910 × 1980 | 6 reference outlets; turning is important for the unexposed side |
| Opposing-jet compact shower | 1400 × 1000 × 2100 | 800 × 910 × 1980 | 12 reference outlets; inspect upper and lower coverage |
| Extended opposing-jet shower | 1400 × 1500 × 2100 | 800 × 1410 × 1980 | 18 reference outlets; assess distribution along the longer interior |
What to check when the pattern feels uneven
One weak outlet
Look for a blocked or damaged nozzle and a local supply-path problem. Compare the reading with neighbouring outlets under the same measurement conditions. Measuring directly at an outlet and measuring farther into the occupied space answer different questions.
One weak side
Review the plenum, supply arrangement and filter condition serving that side. A general timer change does not correct an imbalance between two banks of outlets.
Weak flow throughout
Check fan operation, loaded filters and obstructed returns. Released particles need a route out of the occupied zone. A return grille covered by shoes or belongings can affect the whole circuit.
Keep the layout serviceable
Nozzles should permit the cleaning method required by the application. Complex recesses and inaccessible fixings can be harder to wipe than a simple smooth outlet. For equipment-transfer routes, protect the outlets from impact without adding guards that shield the load or catch debris.
Agree how airflow will be checked after filter replacement or repair. Record the fan state, outlet positions and measuring location so later readings can be compared meaningfully. An outlet velocity is one equipment check; garment particle removal also depends on the use procedure and cannot be inferred from that number alone.
Nozzle positions, chamber dimensions and jet arrangements can be customised to suit the installation space, traffic and application.
