The offered construction determines tolerance, usable cavity and performance documentation. Availability, pack quantities and delivery arrangements are confirmed for the actual order.
Shielding bag supply works best when purchasing, quality and the packing station use the same specification. shengtongJH is an industrial materials procurement supplier; the quotation should identify the proposed bag, supporting documents and order scope so a repeat delivery remains comparable.
Compare the cost of an accepted package
A lower price per bag can be misleading when one quotation uses an open top and another includes a zipper, or when the same nominal size leaves different usable space. Compare the material, closure, size convention and required documents before comparing totals.
Consider how the bag works at the station. A size that requires excessive folding, an awkward opening or extra repacking can add handling work. A sample trial with the intended part and outer packaging is more useful than selecting solely by the largest printed dimensions.
Build a size-and-use list
Group items by the complete packed envelope, including trays and connector protection. Identify which need repeated access and which leave in a sealed dispatch package. This may allow several compatible parts to use one approved size without forcing every assembly into an oversized bag.
Keep special requirements visible: moisture barrier, controlled-environment cleanliness, printing or customer-specified qualification. These can change the product selection and should not be hidden in a generic request for antistatic bags.
Separate the supply commitments
The quotation should distinguish bag quantities from inner packs and cartons, and identify any sample or artwork approval needed before production. If mixed sizes are requested, list the quantity of each rather than relying on a total bag count.
Stock availability, minimum order and delivery timing depend on the proposed supply. Obtain those commitments for the actual order; a catalog photograph or a common size is not evidence that a specific construction is held in stock.
Keep three records connected
- The approved requirement. Retain the material and dimensional specification, closure, marking layout and required qualification evidence.
- The delivery identity. Record the supplier item reference and lot information against the purchase order, so receiving can distinguish a repeat delivery from a proposed substitute.
- The packing result. Note which part, insert and closure method were accepted. If the assembly changes, review the packaging before automatically repeating the old order.
For an alternative source, compare the actual construction and evidence, then trial fit again where necessary. Similar thickness, color and nominal dimensions are a starting point for comparison, not proof of equivalence.
Prepare a request that can be priced clearly
Include part dimensions and shape, annual or batch quantities, opening preference, destination and the applicable ESD packaging requirement. Add any approved sample or drawing reference, plus separate moisture and cleanliness needs. For a new bag design, review the material and conversion specification before fixing the purchase description.
Use the quotation form to describe the required supply. The response can then address the proposed configuration and documents, with any unresolved fit or qualification items identified before an order is finalized.
Mixed-size supply, bag dimensions, closure and identification can be customized to suit the production or maintenance packing requirement.
