3009D offers a straight-pattern polyester wiping surface for repeatable passes across panels, fixtures and accessible machine surfaces. Pre-wetting places the IPA / water mixture in the sheet before it reaches the workstation.

A straight-pattern surface for methodical wiping
3009D uses a straight-pattern polyester fabric rather than the mesh pattern of the 1009 series. Surface pattern affects how the sheet feels and moves against a part, so evaluate it on the actual finish being cleaned. A polished plate, a textured panel and an accessible machine cover can require different pressure and wiping motions.
For flat surfaces, overlap adjacent passes slightly and lift the sheet at the end of each pass. Repeatedly circling a dirty area can redistribute material across the cleaned section. The useful result comes from collecting and removing soil with fresh fabric, not from moving the same loaded face over a larger area.
Before wiping
Check the contact area for grit and sharp debris. Loose abrasive particles trapped between fabric and a polished surface can scratch it. Follow the equipment’s cleaning procedure for removing gross contamination before the finishing wipe.
After the pass
Inspect after the liquid has evaporated. A visibly wet surface can hide marks that become apparent later. If streaks remain, assess the soil, solvent suitability and wipe replacement interval together.
The bagged format keeps the wet sheets close to the task while avoiding a separate liquid-dosing step. Close the pack after use. For a different fiber construction in a similar nominal format, compare 5009D microfiber wipes on the same surface.
