A dynamic pass box adds a filtered-air arrangement to the transfer chamber. The relevant question is how that arrangement performs with the intended load and door sequence, not simply which filter class appears on the equipment label.
Keep the supply and return paths open
Show the normal tray, container or equipment item inside the chamber. Identify where filtered air enters and where it leaves or recirculates. A load pressed against the supply or return can change the intended flow and create poorly swept spaces.
Specify usable dimensions with the required loading clearance. If several load patterns are expected, identify them before acceptance rather than proving one empty-chamber condition and assuming it covers every transfer.
Define what releases the receiving door
A timed delay can be part of the operating sequence, but the chosen setting needs an appropriate basis for the process. Distinguish door interlocking, fan operation, airflow indication and any required recovery verification. A fan-running signal does not necessarily demonstrate the required flow.
ISO 14644-3 provides cleanroom and controlled-zone test methods within a defined scope. The applicable chamber acceptance tests and conditions should be agreed for the project, rather than inferred from a filter factory report.
Plan the filter replacement boundary
Confirm the removal side, seal arrangement and space needed to service the fan and filters. Where maintenance opens the chamber boundary, define how it is cleaned, reassembled and returned to operation. Keep the filter identity and control settings in the equipment record.
Filtered circulation is not a universal decontamination process. Material compatibility, surface preparation and any microbiological requirements remain part of the facility's transfer assessment. A requirement for sterilisation or validated surface reduction needs the appropriate process evidence.
