A clean work booth creates a local operating zone, but its open faces and surrounding room remain part of the airflow problem. Select the booth around the task and access pattern rather than treating it as a small complete cleanroom.
List what crosses the boundary
Operators, trays, tools and large equipment all interrupt the booth opening. Mark where the product is exposed and where incoming materials are prepared. If dirty outer packaging is opened beside sensitive work, the booth may be asked to compensate for an avoidable process conflict.
Choose the enclosure extent to preserve useful access while supporting the intended air path. Adding side screens later can change the arrangement and should be reviewed rather than treated as decoration.
Airflow must coexist with the equipment
Tall items and hot equipment can influence local flow. Show the operating machine, not only its footprint, when planning supply and return locations. Keep filters and air paths accessible after cables, fixtures and storage are installed.
The Labconco comparison of clean-air and containment enclosures explains that product protection and operator protection are different duties. A booth supplying clean air should not be assumed to control harmful emissions without the appropriate design and risk assessment.
Specify an operating condition for acceptance
Agree the layout, equipment state and relevant work conditions under which performance will be checked. An empty booth and a booth containing an active process may behave differently. Define the required evidence instead of relying solely on a filter certificate.
For daily use, keep a simple approved layout and identify the items that must not obstruct the air path. Plan cleaning and filter replacement so the booth can be returned to its intended condition after maintenance.
shengtongJH can coordinate clean work booth configurations around the actual operation. Send the process, equipment layout and protection objective to discuss the enclosure and air-system scope.
