The glove combines HPPE yarn and glass fiber with a PU-coated contact area. Its construction is intended for handling work where edge contact and manual control must be assessed together.
Specify a tested protection level
The material combination identifies the construction, but it does not establish a certified cut-resistance level. For glass, sheet metal or other sharp parts, define the hazard and obtain the required test report before accepting a glove for the task. Cut resistance also does not mean puncture protection or protection from powered cutting equipment.
Keep control of the workpiece
The PU contact coating helps define how the glove grips the surface while the knit follows hand movement. Check that the wearer can hold and release parts without excessive force, and that the glove does not interfere with tooling.
Replace damaged gloves and investigate repeated wear at the same location. If loose fibers or coating particles would affect the product, evaluate shedding and the cleaning requirement separately; an industrial handling glove is not automatically qualified for a controlled product-contact operation.
