Contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions. Agree the cleanliness acceptance limits and electrical verification for the supplied product; dimensions are before stretching.
Choose the grade from the contact point
Handling an outer tray is different from touching a component's finished surface. Identify the surfaces contacted by the cot and the contamination limits that apply to them. This helps determine whether general-grade supply is sufficient or whether a defined cleanliness requirement is needed.
Class 1000 is an ordering designation. Agree the particle test and acceptance limits for the supplied cot; a grade name by itself does not establish the cleanliness of the operator, pack-opening method or workstation.
Inspect fit and handling together
- Select a size from the nominal laid-flat dimensions.
- Fit it to the actual working finger, including the thumb where used.
- Pick up, rotate and release a representative part.
- Check for migration of the rolled opening, loose material and contact by uncovered skin.
Where the palm or several uncovered fingers contact the product, consider a full glove instead of adding cots without reviewing the handling method.
Keep electrical requirements explicit
Yellow color does not demonstrate ESD suitability. Request the electrical report appropriate to your handling arrangement, and follow the site's grounding procedure. Natural rubber latex may cause allergic reactions; nitrile finger cots provide a different material to assess where latex is unsuitable.
