Comparison documentsExact construction, size chart, relevant test report and care instructions
Quote unitPair, individual glove, bag or carton stated explicitly

Knit and film dimensions belong to separate styles. Compare the same construction and packing unit between quotations.

Size mix, contact finish and packing can be customized for the intended application and purchasing plan.

A useful supplier comparison starts with the same handling task and the same acceptance criteria. Two visually similar gloves may use different yarn, coating coverage or disposable formulations, making a price-only comparison misleading.

Make competing offers describe the same glove

A quotation for a conductive textile liner is not directly interchangeable with one for a coated assembly glove. Even within a coated family, fingertips-only coverage and a full working palm can feel different on the same part. Ask each supplier to identify the offered construction before comparing price, pack quantity or expected consumption.

Comparison pointWhat a useful offer identifiesWhy it changes the decision
Contact materialLiner and coating, or the complete disposable filmThe product touches the working face, not a generic material name.
Electrical evidenceIdentifiable glove, method, sample condition and reported resultA resistance number without its measurement basis cannot establish equivalence.

Use cycleSingle use or documented care for a reusable stylePurchase price alone excludes replacement and handling costs.
Order unitPieces or pairs, with bag and carton quantitiesA lower box price may contain fewer usable pairs.

Use a trial that resembles production

Let operators with different hand sizes perform the intended task: opening a tray, lifting the part, using a latch and placing the assembly. Note where fingertips bunch, grip slips or the coating leaves an unwanted mark. A comfortable empty-hand fit is only the beginning of the assessment.

Run the glove's electrical evaluation through the site's ESD procedure and evaluate cleanliness separately when the product requires it. Keep the sample identity and its packaging with the trial record, so the approved sample can later be compared with the delivered specification.

Do not approve a family by one favourable sample

A different coating, colour, size range or manufacturing source may constitute a different variant. Require the supplier to explain what the evidence covers. If laundering is planned, evaluate that use cycle instead of relying only on an unused sample.

Read the cost beyond the carton

The useful commercial unit is the quantity needed for the actual operation. Reusable knit styles may be issued as pairs, while ambidextrous disposable gloves are commonly counted individually. Include the size distribution, expected changes per shift, packing format and any handling needed before entry into the work area.

A nominally cheaper glove can create unnecessary repeat orders if its smallest or largest sizes are not part of the same supply range. Agree how variant changes will be communicated and whether a proposed substitute needs a new trial. Do not accept an unexplained substitution merely because its colour and size label match.

Turn the comparison into a purchasing specification

Record the accepted construction, working surface, sizes, permitted use cycle, packing unit and required evidence in the order description. Retain an approved sample where practical. This gives purchasing, receiving and production a common reference and makes later discrepancies easier to resolve.

shengtongjh provides an industrial sourcing enquiry route for these choices. Include the task, size mix and acceptance requirements when requesting a quotation. For ongoing order control after selection, see ESD gloves supplier.
