ESD Gloves
Anti-Static Gloves
White fabric gloves with visible conductive stripes for assembly, inspection and packing tasks. This undotted construction keeps the fabric itself as the contact surface.
| Material / color | Conductive fiber and polyester / white |
|---|---|
| Contact surface | Anti-static polyester fabric |
| Sizes | S, M, L |
| Documentation options | ESD and cleanliness reports |
| Process areas | Electronics, assembly, glass products, semiconductors, LCD panels, optics and precision electronics |
| Packing | 50 pairs per carton |
The conductive construction must be qualified with the operator and workstation. It does not replace personnel grounding or provide electrical insulation.
Direct fabric contact, without dotted coating
The visible stripe pattern runs through a flexible fabric construction. In this version, the fabric itself contacts the part. That makes it a useful choice to evaluate for dry assembly, inspection and packing where an added dotted surface is not needed.
Inspect contact with representative components, including edges and corners that may catch the fabric. Check whether the fingertip follows the operator's movement or leaves extra material between the hand and a small part. The required fit may differ between an assembly tool and a bare component.
Three checks before workstation approval
- Contact: the fabric should handle the part without unacceptable marking or snagging.
- Cleanliness: the chosen glove and its handling procedure should meet the process's contamination limits.
- Electrical behavior: qualify the glove in the personnel and workstation system used for the task.
The EOS/ESD Association describes system-level evaluation of gloves and finger cots. A visible conductive stripe alone is not a resistance measurement.
When grip needs a different surface
If parts slip during turning or transfer, compare the dotted version in the same task. Keep the component, operator movement and acceptance criteria consistent so the comparison reflects the contact surface.
