Manufacturing dimensions and ratings belong to the selected supplier assembly. Custom requirements are reviewed within its approved design; listed options are not interchangeable across all housing families.
shengtongJH can coordinate customized ports, mounting, element duty and accessory packages with the selected manufacturer for your application.
For a compressed air filter manufacturer enquiry, the useful starting point is the complete assembly that must be supplied. shengtongJH coordinates sourcing and configuration requirements with equipment producers, keeping the filter housing, element, seals and accessories on one agreed specification.
The seal interface determines whether air crosses the media
An element can contain suitable fibre media and still perform badly if air finds a path around its end seal. The head interface, seal compression, cartridge length and support arrangement must work as one design. Procurement should identify the complete housing-and-element combination, rather than buying a generic cartridge by diameter and height alone.
For repeat supply, keep a controlled element identifier and the matching seal specification. A change of end-cap material or seal geometry should be reviewed, even when the replacement looks similar. That discipline reduces the chance of a low-cost substitute bypassing the filtration path.
Build a housing suited to its environment
Compact aluminium bodies can reduce weight and installation space. Steel vessels accommodate larger connections and element arrangements; stainless construction can suit particular material or environmental requirements. The choice should follow pressure, temperature and condensate exposure, not appearance.
Internal protection matters where water collects. Ask how the housing material or coating is specified and maintained, and which cleaning products the seals can tolerate. External colour is a separate decision from the condition of the wetted surfaces.
Engineer the drain as part of the product
A coalescing filter needs to discharge the liquid it captures. A well-made bowl paired with the wrong drain can flood, waste air or become hard to maintain. Define the drain's pressure range, condensate handling method, service access and any electrical supply before the assembly is ordered.
The same applies to differential pressure indication. Connections, range and orientation should suit the selected housing and element. A gauge added after delivery should not require unapproved drilling or changes to the pressure boundary.
Agree what the delivered assembly must show
Mechanical identity
Provide the specific assembly identification, connection standard, pressure–temperature limits and drawing. Distinguish the supplied configuration from a broad catalogue family.
Filtration evidence
Match the element and housing to the performance data. The report should identify the contaminant, inlet challenge, flow conditions and relevant pressure drop.
Service continuity
List replacement elements, seals and drain service parts. Include the maintenance instructions and enough withdrawal clearance to use them after installation.
Turn customization into a controlled specification
For a machine builder, a different bracket may solve a genuine installation constraint. For a process line, a different port or drain may be essential. These changes should be documented on the assembly drawing and checked against the manufacturer's approved design, rather than treated as cosmetic additions.
shengtongJH's role is sourcing and coordination. We do not represent a third-party factory's certificates, production capacity or test results as our own. When comparing several supply proposals, use the manufacturers comparison page to align the delivery scope before assessing price.
