Equipment dimensions exclude packaging, connecting pipework and maintenance clearance. Nominal air volume is referenced to 1 bar absolute and 20°C dry air; final output follows the agreed duty.

The dryer unit and associated accessories can be configured to suit your installation and operating needs.

A compressed air dryer unit is a packaged machine, but it is not automatically a complete installed treatment system. Defining what is inside the cabinet, what is supplied beside it and what remains site work makes the purchase easier to install and maintain.

The unit boundary belongs in the quotation

A refrigerated package normally combines refrigeration, a compressed-air heat exchanger, liquid separation, drainage and controls. Filters, a receiver, isolation valves and the final condensate collection system may be separate. Listing these items explicitly prevents assumptions about a picture or a short product name from becoming gaps at delivery.

Fit the equipment

Use external dimensions to check the position and delivery route. Then add the manufacturer’s ventilation, panel-removal and service requirements. A cabinet that fits through the door may still be impossible to maintain in its final corner.

Fit the connections

Check air-port thread, direction and position, as well as the drain connection. Pipework should be independently supported and aligned so that the dryer is not carrying the weight or strain of the line.

Fit the electrical supply

Voltage, phase and frequency must match the selected version. Agree local isolation and protection with the responsible installer. An adapter or a visually similar plug does not establish electrical compatibility.

Keep access useful after installation

The parts that need attention are often at the side or rear rather than behind the main control panel. Leave access to the condenser, drain and service covers, and identify how the unit is isolated and depressurised for maintenance. A fixed wall pipe or a neighbouring machine should not obstruct the required removal path.

Provide a condensate route that suits the selected drain’s discharge conditions. Where the compressor introduces oil into the collected condensate, arrange appropriate treatment and disposal for the site. Do not treat a small hose leaving the cabinet as the end of the drainage design.

Receive a defined package

The delivery record should identify the unit, electrical configuration, included accessories and documentation. Inspect for transit damage and protect connections from contamination. Use the specified handling method rather than lifting by pipe fittings or removable panels.

Commission the installed duty

Installation acceptance should include correct air direction, leak checks, drainage operation and moisture performance at an appropriate operating condition. Follow the selected unit’s start and stop instructions, including any required preparation before admitting air.

Choose performance before cabinet convenience

A replacement footprint is useful only if the unit can meet the flow and pressure-dew-point requirement at the actual inlet and ambient temperatures. Where the existing space prevents ventilation or service, modifying the installation can be a better decision than selecting an undersized dryer to fit it.

Review the surrounding system or send the available space, connections and operating conditions through the quotation form.

The dryer unit and associated accessories can be configured to suit your installation and operating needs.
