Dimensions are equipment-envelope choices, not a fixed offer. Price, capacity, electrical input, delivery and acceptance conditions are established for the selected package.
The quotation and dryer package can be tailored to your process duty, installation and delivery requirements.
A useful compressed air dryer quote makes different offers comparable. It states the air condition to be delivered, the operating conditions used for selection and the equipment included around the dryer. A price attached only to a nominal flow leaves too many decisions unresolved.
Give the quotation a measurable duty
Start with net dry air required by the process, including simultaneous users and the duration of any short peak. State how the flow is expressed: different reference temperatures and pressures change the meaning of a volumetric figure. Where the demand is uncertain, provide compressor information and a description of the connected users so the uncertainty can be addressed explicitly.
Add the lowest normal operating pressure, hottest expected inlet air and ambient conditions, and the required pressure dew point. Identify cold pipe runs or special process requirements. These details determine whether the quoted technology and capacity are suitable, rather than merely similar to an existing unit.
Equipment supply
Identify the dryer arrangement, inlet treatment, outlet filtration, drains and controls. State which items are integrated and which are separately supplied. Record the selected dimensions and connection standards.
Site work
Allocate pipework, electrical isolation, ventilation or cooling water, condensate collection and positioning. A delivered cabinet and a commissioned treatment system have different scopes.
Acceptance and support
Agree the documentation, moisture acceptance conditions, spare items and support responsibilities. Specify any destination requirements that affect pressure equipment or electrical configuration.
Compare running costs on the same boundary
For a refrigerated dryer, review full- and part-load electrical demand at relevant conditions. For adsorption or membrane drying, include compressed air used in regeneration or purge. Additional pressure loss also creates a system consequence, especially if the compressor must operate at a higher pressure to maintain the process supply.
Do not compare one unit’s control-panel watts with another unit’s complete electrical demand, or inlet flow with net outlet flow. Ask for the basis of each figure before ranking prices.
A replacement enquiry
Include existing equipment identification, connection photographs, available space, electrical supply and the reason for replacement. Describe whether the problem occurs under high load, hot weather or all operating conditions. This helps distinguish a capacity change from an installation or maintenance issue.
A first-installation enquiry
Describe the process, expected operating schedule and future users that are already planned. Show the intended equipment position and state who will design the surrounding treatment and storage. Avoid treating an undefined allowance for future demand as a substitute for a load assessment.
Send a scope that can become an order
Provide the delivery city and country, required date, unloading arrangement and any purchase-document requirements. Requested dates and support needs can then be assessed against the selected equipment and supply arrangement; they are not established by a generic product page.
Use the quotation form with these details. If the drying method is still undecided, begin with the technology comparison, then use the supplier assessment points to evaluate proposals.
The quotation and dryer package can be tailored to your process duty, installation and delivery requirements.
