SU-002 provides a fine fabric cleaning tip on a blue handle. It is a candidate for restricted optical access where the full tip and neck geometry fit the connection being serviced.
Fine access needs alignment
A slender head can approach a small opening, but poor alignment can push it against the port wall rather than the intended contact surface. Insert only along the approved path and stop if resistance is unexpected. Bending the tip to make it fit can compromise both cleaning and removal.
Verify the connector's cleaning procedure and the reach needed inside the adapter. Do not select a tool from the ferrule diameter alone; the surrounding sleeve and access depth also matter.
Use very little fluid
If the approved method calls for wet cleaning, avoid saturating the tip. Excess fluid can remain inside the connection and complicate inspection. Use the fluid and drying sequence specified for that optical assembly.
Keep inspection in the workflow
Inspect before cleaning and again afterward. Persistent contamination may require a different approved method, while visible damage cannot be corrected by repeated swabbing. Do not keep rubbing an end face simply because the same mark remains.
Remove swabs from the inner pack by the handle and protect the remaining tips. The blue handle identifies the pictured product, but it does not certify antistatic properties or universal connector compatibility.
