093BACTL combines a multilayer head construction with an outer microfiber surface. Its rounded paddle gives a defined wiping face for accessible parts while the compact handle supports local control.
Understand the working layer
The outside fabric is the layer that meets the part; the material beneath supports the head during contact. A layered construction can look similar to a simpler fabric paddle, so selection should consider the assembled head rather than the outer texture alone.
During a process trial, observe how the head behaves when dry and when lightly wetted. Check whether the face remains stable, whether liquid spreads beyond the intended area and whether the cleaned surface meets its acceptance criteria after drying.
Use a supported stroke
Keep the rounded face against the surface and avoid folding the paddle around a sharp edge. A broad, supported stroke is easier to control than rubbing with only the corner of the head. Change the swab before collected residue returns to the workpiece.
Qualify the combination
For optical assemblies, precision tooling or electronic parts, assess the selected fluid, contact force and number of passes together. A material name does not establish a universal scratch-free or residue-free result.
Store the working supply in its closed inner pack between uses. Layered heads should not be handled at the tip while counting or distributing swabs, because that introduces contamination before the first cleaning pass.
