076BMSTD is a pointed fabric swab for local contact around small features. The short tapered head and slender PP handle allow a controlled approach where a broad wiping face would cover too much of the surrounding part.
Use the point to locate the working area
A tapered fabric head is useful when the cleaning target is a small edge or corner rather than an open surface. The operator can position the end precisely, then use a short controlled stroke along the exposed feature. The point should remain covered by intact fabric throughout the operation.
A narrow profile is not permission to force the tool into a tight opening. If the head catches during withdrawal, the opening or internal edge may be unsuitable for this swab. A different access route or smaller tool is preferable to pulling harder.
Define a repeatable local-cleaning step
- Locate. Identify the residue and keep the target visible while approaching it.
- Contact. Use a compatible fluid if needed and limit pressure to the fabric-covered tip.
- Inspect. Check the cleaned feature and the used head for remaining material or snagging before proceeding.
For sensitive production processes, specify the required head-material and cleanliness documentation with the order. Model appearance alone cannot establish particle release, chemical compatibility or a validated cleaning result.
