The double-layer HK6009 microfiber cover fits around a flat mop frame and fastens with ties. Its fabric construction suits cleaning plans that call for a removable textile cover without a separate sponge insert.
A fabric-only alternative to a sponge pad
This cover uses two layers of microfiber fabric rather than a separate sponge reservoir. That construction gives the buyer a different starting point for controlling wetness and handling used textiles. It is worth comparing the complete cleaning routine, including preparation, contact with the surface and collection after use, instead of choosing by appearance alone.
The cover wraps around a flat frame and closes with ties at the back. Its working face should remain smooth after fitting. Folds or excessive slack can interfere with consistent contact, particularly when the head reverses direction.
Three details that determine replacement fit
- Cover opening. The frame must enter without forcing the seam or overstretching the fabric.
- Tie location. The ties should close above the frame and remain clear of the wiping face.
- Head movement. The cover must not obstruct the pivot or bunch against the handle connection.
A matching nominal size is only part of the fit check. Existing frames with different end shapes or pivot positions may need a different cover pattern. Send the frame dimensions and a photograph of its connection when specifying a replacement.
Keep grade choices explicit
General-purpose material and a cleanroom supply grade should not be mixed under one purchasing description. For controlled manufacturing or laboratory work, define the relevant contamination criteria and the documentation required with that grade. A white fabric surface is not evidence of sterility.
