| Nominal flat palm width (mm) | 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 / 115 / 125 by size |
| Single-wall film options (mm) | Palm 0.10–0.12; cuff 0.08–0.10; fingertip 0.12–0.14 in the selected construction |
| Cuff and grip | Extended beaded cuff; textured fingertips |
| Cleanliness selection | Qualified cleanroom construction; sterile or non-sterile status specified separately |

Total length runs from the longest fingertip to the cuff edge on the relaxed glove. A commercial 12-inch description is not an exact 300 mm acceptance specification.
Hand-size quantities, the specified length acceptance basis and packaging selection can be customized for your garment interface and use procedure.
A 300 mm nitrile cleanroom glove provides an extended cuff for the wrist-to-sleeve interface. Its usefulness depends on the length actually supplied, the wearer's hand dimensions and whether overlap remains in place during work.
Total length is not forearm coverage
Part of the glove length accommodates the fingers and palm. The remaining portion covers the wrist and sleeve, so two wearers can obtain different overlap from the same nominal length. A product described as extended-cuff should therefore be assessed with the garment and task, rather than against a ruler alone.
For incoming dimensional acceptance, state the measurement basis and tolerance. Supplier descriptions using a rounded inch length may refer to different nominal metric lengths. Resolve that difference in the written specification before comparing quotations.
Keep the cuff engaged during movement
Reaching into a fixture, rotating the forearm and bending the wrist can pull the sleeve and glove in different directions. Check these movements during the fit trial. The cuff should remain in the arrangement required by the site's gowning procedure without creating an exposed gap.
A larger hand size may reduce palm tension but will not necessarily solve insufficient sleeve overlap. Conversely, a longer cuff does not correct a poor finger fit. Address these as separate dimensions.
Three details to settle before ordering
- The sleeve interface: include the actual garment cuff and any approved inner-glove arrangement in the trial. Avoid assuming that all sleeve materials behave the same way.
- The handling surface: choose texture for the component and required grip. A textured fingertip and a fully textured glove do not create the same contact surface.
- The transfer pack: select a bag or pair presentation that can enter the work area through the existing material-transfer procedure.
Use length for coverage, not as a protection claim
The cuff can improve coverage while remaining a thin disposable film. It does not establish resistance to immersion, heat, sharp edges or every cleaning chemical. Required chemical protection must be selected using the actual glove's data and the exposure conditions.
If the operation needs more coverage than this length provides, specify the required interface and movement instead of simply stretching the cuff further. For hand-fit questions, compare the size guidance on men nitrile cleanroom gloves class 100. The supply decision should keep both fit and cleanliness requirements intact.
