cleanroom doors qatar
| Door format | Single leaf; equal or unequal double leaf |
|---|---|
| Nominal door sizes, W × H × T (mm) | 900 × 2100 × 42; 1828 × 2100 × 42 |
| Leaf finish | Powder-coated steel, stainless steel or aluminium skin |
| Frame | Aluminium profile or formed steel; matched to the wall system |
| Sealing | Perimeter gasket; bottom drop seal option |
| Glazing and hardware | Flush vision panel; lever or push plate; closer and access-control options |
Nominal door sizes are not clear-passage or wall-opening dimensions. Frame envelope, handing and usable opening are defined by the selected doorset drawing.
Doors, hardware and interface documentation can be configured for the Qatar project schedule and site coordination requirements.
A Qatar project may involve separate teams for partitions, doors, electrical systems and facility operation. A cleanroom doorset works better when its opening identity and responsibilities stay consistent from the approved drawing through handover.
Keep one schedule through the project
Room numbers can change as a project develops, while procurement and site teams continue using older drawings. A stable opening identifier links the door, frame, hardware and control point even when the room description is revised. This reduces the risk of installing the correct doorset at the wrong opening.
The schedule should distinguish routine access from occasional equipment movement. A large inactive leaf may be useful for a future installation, but should not force everyday users to release extra hardware unnecessarily.
Allocate the interfaces before delivery
| Interface | Decision needed |
|---|---|
| Partition to frame | Who provides backing, opening tolerance, fixings and the finished perimeter joint. |
| Door to floor | The final level, bottom-seal detail and any traffic threshold constraint. |
| Door to controls | Power, cable routes, contacts, lock behaviour and the commissioning responsibility. |
| Door to operations | Normal use, cleaning access, emergency release and maintenance ownership. |
These decisions are most effective before manufacturing release. Resolving them after the frame is installed can require drilling, surface repairs or a different hardware package.
Deliver in a sequence the site can use
A packed opening set should include its associated hardware or clearly identify where that hardware is stored. Stage deliveries around installation readiness when the project programme allows. Early delivery without suitable storage can create extra handling and damage risk.
The receiving record should note package condition and reconcile components before the opening is scheduled for installation.
Keep import documentation precise
Qatar Customs describes electronic import declarations by the importer, representative or authorised broker, supported by the relevant commercial and transport documents. The appointed party should confirm the requirements for the actual consignment.
Door assemblies and separately supplied accessories should be described consistently. Shipment documentation does not replace technical approval of the installed opening.
Handover the final configuration
The facility team needs the installed hardware references, adjustment instructions and operating sequence, including any changes approved during construction. A catalogue for the original proposed door is insufficient if the final lock, seal or operator differs.
For process-sensitive rooms, installed acceptance should cover the physical boundary and control interfaces under the agreed operating conditions. shengtongjh can coordinate the procurement package; local installation and project acceptance remain explicitly assigned responsibilities.
Where the control interface is the difficult part, review automatic cleanroom doors before finalising the electrical scope.
