Start with the housing and the air stream
A replacement enquiry needs two kinds of information. The housing drawing establishes fit and sealing; the air-stream description establishes the adsorption duty. Supplying only one can lead to a filter that installs correctly but treats the wrong contaminant, or a suitable sorbent in a cassette that leaks around its edge.
Include the existing filter position and access direction. For a multi-stage system, identify the upstream particle filter and any downstream protection. This clarifies which job belongs to the carbon stage rather than expecting it to solve every air-quality problem.
