Tip size and packing are not specified in the listing; define them for the order. Check compatibility with the intended sensitive surface.
Tip and handling requirements can be customized to the localized cleaning task.
A small tacky blue tip targets individual particles where a broad roller is difficult to position. The slim white handle gives the operator a clear approach to restricted areas without covering the whole surface.
Touch, lift and inspect
Approach the particle with a clean tip, make light contact and lift away without dragging. Inspect the tip and the workpiece before the next contact. Reusing a loaded tip can move contamination to another location.
This is a contact-pickup tool. The photographed product has no brush or carbon-cleaning head, and should not be selected as a solvent cleaner for fingerprints or bonded films.
Qualify the sensitive surface
Check that the selected tack releases without a mark on the intended coating or component. Optical surfaces, delicate films and exposed electronic structures need a compatible, approved cleaning method.
Keep the contact tip protected between uses and establish a cleaning or replacement interval. For a large accessible surface, a silicone roller may be more efficient; use the pen where its small contact area provides useful control.
