Package dimensions do not include separate treatment and site services. The quotation identifies the selected assembly, included equipment and commercial terms.
The supply package and quotation can be customized to your required duty, installation scope and operating priorities.
Oil free air compressor price depends on the duty and what the quotation includes. A compact intermittent unit, an enclosed scroll package and a central dry screw station solve different problems and should not be compared by purchase price alone.
Find out what sits behind the quoted amount
A low compressor-only figure may exclude the receiver, drying, filtration and electrical work needed to operate it. An integrated package can cost more initially while reducing some installation tasks, but may still need site pipework and ventilation. Compare the complete route to usable air at the required point, not just the cabinet.
| Cost item | What the offer should identify |
|---|---|
| Compressor assembly | Technology, rated delivery at pressure, control method and electrical specification. |
| Storage and treatment | Receiver, dryer type, filters, condensate drains and any additional air consumption. |
| Installation | Connections, pipework, supports, power, ventilation or cooling-water work. |
| Delivery and handover | Packing, transport terms, offloading, commissioning, documents and acceptance scope. |
| Ongoing support | Maintenance parts, service access, responsibilities and agreed warranty terms. |
Do not assume that an accessory shown beside a compressor is included. A clear bill of supply prevents a purchase comparison from changing after the equipment reaches the site.
Calculate electricity from the operating pattern
Annual compressor energy cost can be estimated by adding the electrical input in each operating mode multiplied by the hours spent in that mode, then applying the electricity tariff. Include loaded, part-load and unloaded operation where applicable, plus separately metered treatment or cooling equipment. Motor nameplate output alone is not the complete electrical consumption.
Buying more capacity can increase running cost
An oversized machine may cycle frequently or spend long periods consuming power without delivering useful air. A receiver can improve control behaviour but cannot make every mismatch economical. Compare the actual demand profile with the package's performance, particularly when night-shift or weekend use is much lower.
Variable-speed control should be evaluated against that profile and its useful operating range. It should not be priced as an automatic saving of a fixed percentage. A coordinated smaller package or a separate low-demand branch may produce a better result in some facilities.
Buying less treatment can move cost into production
Drying and filtration should follow the process requirement, not whichever accessories remain in the budget. Water in instruments, contamination on a surface or unstable pressure can create rework and downtime that exceed the saving on an omitted component.
Over-specifying air quality can also add unnecessary capital and running cost. Define the required contaminants, limits and acceptance location, then choose treatment that meets those needs under the operating conditions.
Compare maintenance over a useful period
Oil-free machines still have filters, drains, cooling surfaces and technology-specific wear parts. Some dry screw machines also have lubricated drive components outside the air path. Ask for the maintenance requirements of the selected assembly, the parts included at delivery and the access needed for service.
A compact integrated unit may simplify installation but make some replacements more specialised. Separate equipment occupies more space and needs connections, yet can allow a dryer or receiver to be serviced independently. Evaluate that tradeoff against the facility's downtime tolerance.
Information that makes a quotation comparable
Provide required pressure, simultaneous flow, operating hours, air-quality requirement, electricity and destination. Include whether the equipment replaces a working system or serves a new process. State the desired delivery and installation scope so competing offers can be compared on the same basis.
shengtongJH prepares equipment sourcing around the agreed specification and commercial scope. A configuration-specific offer is more useful than a universal price attached to machines with very different capacities. Review manufacturer and package documentation when assessing the technical basis of an offer.
The supply package and quotation can be customized to your required duty, installation scope and operating priorities.
