Dimensions and configurations can be customized for your application.

Intercept flying insects in suitable support areas as part of a broader pest-management plan, with accessible collection and maintenance.

Intercept insects before they reach sensitive work

An insect killer uses an attraction lamp and a killing grid to intercept flying insects in a suitable indoor area. It works best as one part of a pest-management arrangement that also addresses doors, screens, waste and the sources that attract insects into the building.

Place the unit where it can intercept insects without drawing them through a sensitive working zone. Avoid locations visible from outside that may attract additional insects into the building. Its position should also allow maintenance without reaching over stored supplies or production equipment.

Keep exposed product out of the capture area

An electric killing grid can release insect fragments. It should not be installed over open food, exposed pharmaceutical materials or sensitive cleanroom work. Where the process requires retained capture, evaluate a suitable glue-board unit as part of the pest-control plan instead of assuming that all insect-control devices are interchangeable.

The attraction lamp is a UV-A source for insect control, not a UV-C disinfection device. It should not be marketed as a way to sterilize room air or sanitize products.

Make collection and inspection routine

The collection tray needs easy access and regular attention. Inspect the device in accordance with its instructions and the facility's pest-monitoring schedule. Record unusual catches so that an increasing insect problem can be investigated at its source.

Lamp output changes with use even when the lamp remains visibly illuminated. Use compatible replacement lamps and isolate the unit before the maintenance required by its instructions. Housing size, mounting and lamp arrangement can be configured for the intended support area and cleaning routine.
