Dimensions and configurations can be customized for your application.

The top gel-seal arrangement locates the filter's sealing interface at its upper perimeter. A matching housing edge engages the gel channel as the element is seated, creating a defined barrier against air bypass around the media.

Seat the filter evenly into its sealing interface

The top gel channel and housing edge need to engage around the full perimeter. Correct alignment is therefore essential when the filter is lifted into position. The retaining system supports the frame and maintains the intended engagement; it should not be used to force a misaligned element into place.

Before installation, check that the frame, channel and mating edge are compatible and undamaged. Keep the gel channel free from packaging fragments and debris. A clean handling route reduces the risk of damaging an interface that may be difficult to inspect once the filter is installed.

Resolve the ceiling junction early

The terminal connects three different interfaces: the supply duct, the cleanroom ceiling and the replaceable filter. The ceiling opening and support must hold the box square while the duct approaches without placing a twisting load on it. The visible diffuser then closes the room-side face.

The top gel seal is independent of duct entry direction. A top connection may suit a supply branch above the terminal; a side connection may work better with a lateral route. Check the complete height and service envelope instead of selecting only by the room-side opening.

Keep replacement movement clear

The element needs space to be presented squarely to the seat and removed without scraping the sealing edge. Nearby lights, process equipment and fixed screens can interfere with that movement even when they do not obstruct normal airflow.

Build verification into the installation

Where the process requires an installed filter integrity test, coordinate aerosol introduction, upstream measurement and access to the downstream filter face before procurement. The selected test method should be compatible with the complete terminal and the application's operating condition.

Testing the installed assembly serves a different purpose from checking the room airflow volume. A sound seal does not establish that the required air reaches the room, and correct airflow does not prove the absence of local bypass. Both requirements should be addressed during commissioning.

Useful records for the next changeout

Filter identity

Retain the exact frame and seal details, not only a broad HEPA description. This avoids ordering an element with a different channel arrangement.

Service method

Keep the intended removal sequence and support method accessible to the maintenance team. Protect the media while handling the frame.

Operating condition

Record the required terminal duty and restore it after maintenance. Review unusual resistance or uneven flow before returning the room to normal operation.

Housing, connection and access arrangements can be customized around the ceiling and maintenance requirements. Discuss a compatible terminal assembly.
