Drawing scopeOverall envelope, mounting edge, intake, wiring and service clearances

Confirm mounting dimensions, airflow duty, supply voltage and service access in the approved assembly drawing.

Mounting edges, intake positions, housing dimensions and control interfaces can be customized to the installation requirements.

Selecting a fan filter unit manufacturer involves more than matching an overall box size. shengtongJH coordinates procurement with manufacturing suppliers so the casing, mounting edge, filter connection and electrical interface fit the installation.

Start with the connection that cannot move

An existing ceiling opening or machine frame usually provides the hardest constraint. Define its clear opening, supporting surface and available access before selecting the fan. A casing that fits through an opening can still be unsuitable if its flange overlaps a neighbouring light fitting or leaves an unsupported edge.

Give the manufacturing supplier the receiving interface, rather than only a preferred external dimension. That enables the casing, lifting points and service panels to be coordinated with the structure that will carry the unit.

Housing and filter

The frame needs to remain square and provide an uninterrupted sealing surface. Filter thickness, gasket position and retaining method must agree. Changing the panel depth can affect both pressure loss and the room-side projection.

Fan and electrical parts

Identify the operating airflow, available inlet conditions and control method together. A motor that accepts a speed command does not necessarily provide feedback or constant-flow regulation. Agree these functions before wiring is designed.

Service and handling

A removable top panel is useful only when there is access above it. Where that space is unavailable, select a suitable room-side service arrangement and retain the opening needed to withdraw the filter safely.

Approve changes as an assembly

Custom fabrication can solve an awkward installation, but an enclosure change may also alter the air path. A shallower casing, relocated inlet or different fan should therefore be reviewed against the complete duty. The old airflow figure should not simply be transferred to the modified unit.

Agree the drawing revision, material specification and component identities in the purchase documents. Define any factory checks and requested filter records against that exact configuration. This gives receiving staff a concrete basis for checking the delivered equipment.

shengtongJH operates as a sourcing and trading supplier. We coordinate the offered manufacturing configuration and commercial supply scope; manufacturing identity and any required compliance evidence belong in the accepted order documents.

Mounting edges, intake positions, housing dimensions and control interfaces can be customized to the installation requirements.
