S4009 is a woven polyester-nylon microfiber wipe with a twill structure. It provides a thin contact face for cleaning suitable touch-panel, LCD and precision assembly surfaces.
Assess the twill contact pattern
A twill weave presents a different surface pattern from a plain weave. S4009 is useful to compare where the cleaning task involves thin films or adhesive residue and the operator needs a compact woven cloth.
Keep the cleaning liquid and wiping direction consistent during the comparison. Inspect for both residual film and directional marks after drying rather than selecting solely by how the cloth feels in the hand.
Before bonding
Use the surface-preparation procedure approved for the adhesive or coating. A visually clean surface is not automatically ready for a critical bond.
Around fixtures
Prevent the cloth from catching on sharp edges or dragging residue from a neighbouring area. Fold the sealed rim away from the working face where necessary.
Choose the sheet size around the actual contact area. A smaller sheet can reduce handling clutter, while a larger one supplies additional fresh folded faces between changes.
