S309A is a thin woven microfiber wipe with a plain weave and polyester-nylon composition. It is intended for controlled removal of residual adhesive and oily films around touch-panel and LCD assembly operations.
A woven face for assembly residue
Adhesive traces and thin oil films can remain on an otherwise clean-looking assembly surface. S309A uses a woven composite-fibre face for evaluating removal of these residues with the cleaner approved by the process.
For touch-panel work or chip-on-glass operations, distinguish cleaning the fixture from cleaning the bonding surface. The latter may have stricter residue and surface-energy requirements that need their own acceptance test.
Why the thin profile matters
A thin cloth can form a compact fold around a small support. Keep that support smooth and clean so it does not create a pressure point or transfer contamination through the fabric.
Avoid a loaded finishing pass
Soften compatible adhesive residue with the approved chemistry, collect it and change to a clean face. Continuing to rub with a tacky or oily area can leave a wider film that is harder to see before bonding.
