Keep both layers under control
A double-layer sheet provides a different handling feel from a single layer. Fold it so the layers stay aligned during the pass, especially when wiping corners or lifting liquid from a recess. Do not interpret the listed basis weight as the combined finished assembly weight without confirming how it was measured.
The layered construction can help hold a working fold, but the actual amount of liquid retained depends on the selected sheet and wetting method. Evaluate saturation and release on a sample before setting a production procedure.
