Washing designations describe processing options, not sterility. Absorption figures require a confirmed test unit and method before comparison.
PW23H is a woven twill wipe made from 70% polyester and 30% nylon. Its relatively thin construction provides a composite-fibre contact surface with hot-cut edges.
A woven alternative to the knitted grades
PW23H uses a twill structure rather than a knit. It can be evaluated where a thin woven cloth is easier to control around a small part or support, especially when a thicker folded pad creates too much bulk.
Keep the working face flat and inspect for directional wiping marks after the cleaner has evaporated. The best direction and contact method depend on the surface and residue being removed.
Control the perimeter
The hot-cut edge should be considered as part of the contact system. Fold it away where the part's cleaning procedure requires an uninterrupted fabric face.
Qualify the supplied finish
Use the intended sheet size, washing condition and packaging during trials. A material-composition statement does not replace finished-product evidence for particles, ions or extractable residue.
Compare the number of accepted cleaning cycles per pack as well as the feel of a single sheet when choosing between woven and knitted options.
