2009D has a close knitted, straight-texture polyester surface for wiping small LCD-related parts and production fixtures. Its construction is intended to support repeated contact without the open mesh feel of the 1009 family.
A closer fabric face for controlled contact
For a small display-related surface, consistency of contact can matter more than the size of an open mesh. The closely knitted face of 2009D provides a regular wiping surface that can be folded to fit the work area.
Before lamination or assembly, remove loose hard particles first. A clean cloth cannot prevent scratching if an abrasive particle is trapped between the wipe and the part. Use the approved cleaning liquid and inspect the surface after evaporation.
Useful trial observations
- Does the sheet lie flat against the part without bunching?
- Does the selected edge stay outside the critical contact area?
- Are particles, streaks or visible fibres present after the defined number of passes?
- Can operators repeat the folding and replacement procedure?
These observations help compare 2009D with a mesh alternative. Keep the washing designation and package handling identical during the comparison so the effect of the fabric construction is not obscured.
