1009A is a knitted polyester mesh wipe for removing visible residue from process surfaces, printing equipment and the edges or backs of suitable workpieces. The textured fabric provides a practical contact surface while the sealed edge helps contain loose yarn ends.
Mesh contact for residue removal
During equipment cleaning, a smooth cloth can spread deposits across a surface before picking them up. The open mesh of 1009A gives displaced particles somewhere to collect between yarns. Fold the sheet to present a clean working face and turn it before the loaded area touches the next surface.
This construction is suited to manual cleaning and accessible surfaces on semi-automatic equipment. For a wafer-related process, qualify the specific contact location, chemistry and contamination limit; an edge or backside cleaning application does not establish suitability for contact with an active device surface.
Protect the working face
Keep the cut edge inside the fold when wiping delicate finishes. Lift away hard particles before applying pressure, and use a new face when the cloth begins to drag.
Specify the complete pack
Choose the sheet size, edge treatment and washing designation together. Vacuum inner packaging supports controlled transfer, but a washed wipe is not automatically sterile.
