Washing designations describe processing options, not sterility. Absorption figures require a confirmed test unit and method before comparison.
HK509D is a polyester-nylon microfiber wipe with a straight knitted face for controlled passes on precision electronics surfaces. It offers a middle-weight fabric option for film and particle-removal trials.
Make each wiping pass deliberate
Repeated back-and-forth rubbing can return collected contamination to a cleaned area. HK509D can be used in a defined directional cleaning sequence: start with a clean face, move across the approved contact area and lift the cloth before resetting.
For assemblies with openings or joints, control the amount of cleaning liquid and avoid pushing loosened material into the recess. A narrow folded face may offer better control than a large loose sheet.
What a production trial should establish
- The number of passes needed to remove the actual contaminant.
- The replacement point before a loaded face begins to smear.
- Whether the edge and fold clear adjacent components.
- The final particle or visible-residue result after drying.
Do not infer zero fibre release from the microfiber designation. Use finished-product test evidence where the process requires a measurable cleanliness limit.
