HK509A is a soft straight-texture microfiber wipe made from polyester and nylon. It is intended for evaluating fingerprint and oily-film removal on suitable optical glass and precision production surfaces.
For a controlled wet-cleaning pass
HK509A provides a fine knitted contact face that can collect loosened film from a suitable surface. Use enough approved cleaner to release the contaminant while avoiding liquid running into edges, mounts or assemblies.
For a separate finishing pass
Present an unused section of cloth after the initial removal step. Reusing the same loaded face can spread a thin residue that becomes visible only after drying.
Evaluate handling, not just softness
Softness is useful only if the cloth remains easy to control. Trial the actual sheet size, fold and glove combination. Check for bunching, loss of contact and snagging at the perimeter.
Where the process has defined particle or ionic limits, request evidence for the finished washed wipe. Keep the selected edge finish and packaging in the specification so subsequent batches are comparable to the trial sample.
