Washing designations describe processing options, not sterility. Absorption figures require a confirmed test unit and method before comparison.
8009I is a soft polyester-nylon microfiber wipe for fingerprints and film on suitable glass surfaces. Its relatively substantial knitted face can be folded into a stable pad for controlled manual cleaning.
Choose the finish before comparing the cloth
8009I is listed with several washing designations and an unwashed option. These are different supply conditions. An unwashed fabric should not be treated as interchangeable with a washed, packaged wipe in a controlled process.
Compare candidate samples with the same finished condition. Otherwise, a difference in residue may come from processing rather than the fabric itself.
Control liquid at the glass surface
Moisten only the working area of the fold and collect the loosened fingerprint with a smooth pass. If the cloth leaves a persistent wet trail, reduce the liquid load or change the fold rather than increasing pressure.
Record a repeatable method
- The cleaner and amount applied.
- The fold and area cleaned before turning.
- The inspection performed after drying.
- The condition that triggers a new sheet.
This record makes a successful sample trial useful to production operators and purchasing staff.
