Keep containers and suitable stored items above the floor on an open, cleanable support frame.
Keep storage off the floor without building another cabinet
A low stainless steel rack raises suitable containers above the floor and leaves the area around them visible. It is useful for designated staging positions where items would otherwise sit directly on a wet or frequently cleaned surface. The open frame reduces enclosed voids and allows inspection beneath the stored load.
Choose it for stable containers whose bases span the supports. Small loose items, soft bags or containers with narrow feet may need a different surface. The gaps in an open rack are helpful only when the load cannot sag or tip through them.
Design for the way the load arrives
Consider whether items are placed by hand, slid from a trolley or moved with handling equipment. The rack height and edge position should support that movement without creating a repeated lift over an obstacle. Leave sufficient clearance around the rack to clean and to retrieve the item nearest the wall.
The required load rating depends on the frame span, leg positions and how weight is distributed. A uniform load over the whole surface differs from a heavy machine standing on four small feet. Specify the actual container footprint and maximum operating weight before selecting the support arrangement.
A defined storage position
Use the rack for its assigned materials. Prevent temporary overflow from extending beyond its footprint or blocking an aisle. Heavy items should remain stable when the adjacent container is removed.
Accessible cleaning
Leave enough space below and behind the frame for the cleaning tools in use. Inspect feet and contact points for trapped residues rather than wiping only the top rails.
This storage rack is not a personnel access platform unless specifically engineered for that duty. Footprint, height and support details can be customized to your containers and handling route.
