Build the workstation around the operator, equipment and cleaning access, with fixed and mobile table arrangements.
Define the working area before adding storage
A stainless steel worktable provides a clear surface for assembly, inspection, packing or instrument handling. Start with the space occupied by the actual equipment, then include the operator's hands, incoming materials and completed work. A table that holds the equipment but leaves no usable handling space quickly becomes cluttered.
The catalogue shows fixed and wheeled versions. Both can share the same basic worktop, but they serve different routines. A fixed table favors a stable, repeatable position. A mobile table allows access behind equipment or temporary rearrangement when services and the load permit it.
Fixed workstation
Level the table and coordinate it with adjacent benches. Check that instruments sit correctly without relying on improvised packing. Provide the knee space needed for seated work.
Mobile workstation
Include caster height in the final working level. Lock the wheels before work and manage cables or hoses so movement does not pull on connections. Mobility is useful only when the equipment can be moved safely.
Choose the details that affect daily use
A rear upstand can contain small spills against a wall, while an open edge may be more useful for transferring trays. Under-shelves add storage but can restrict knees and cleaning access. A heavily loaded instrument or equipment with small support feet may need local reinforcement; overall table size alone does not establish load capacity.
For work sensitive to vibration, static electricity or contamination, specify those needs explicitly. A stainless table does not by itself provide vibration isolation, an ESD-controlled system or filtered product protection. Wipe beneath the top and around frame joints during maintenance. Table size, working height, mobility and accessories can be customized around the task.
