076BFSTD uses a short, sharply tapered foam head on a slender PP handle. The profile supports local cleaning around corners and close features where a broad paddle would obstruct the operator's view.
Keep the contact point visible
A short head makes it easier to see where the tip meets a small feature. This matters when removing a local deposit beside a connector, along a tool edge or near a surface that must remain untouched. Hold the handle at an angle that leaves the target visible instead of using the point blindly.
The taper helps access; it does not make the swab a probe for clearing blocked holes. If a deposit does not release with an approved cleaning fluid and light contact, change the cleaning method rather than increasing pressure.
Small tip, controlled liquid
Apply only enough compatible fluid to wet the working area. Excess liquid can migrate beyond the visible tip and leave residue after evaporation. A separate clean swab can collect remaining fluid where the process permits a wet-then-dry sequence.
Match the whole access path
Check both entry clearance and the space needed to move the handle. A tip may reach a corner while the shaft contacts an adjacent component. For repeated production work, define the approach direction and replacement interval so operators do not compensate for poor access by bending or crushing the head.
Retain unused swabs in their inner packaging and handle them by the shaft. A pointed head that has touched a glove, bench or tray is no longer a clean starting surface.
