070BPCTS uses a double-layer polyester fabric head with a narrow PP handle. It provides a compact wiping surface for small parts and controlled cleaning around accessible edges.
Choose polyester for the complete process
The head material is one part of swab selection. The cleaning fluid must also be compatible with the handle, the workpiece and any coating or adhesive nearby. Test the assembled swab under the intended contact time rather than assuming that a polyester head makes every solvent suitable.
For local residue removal, use the smallest amount of fluid that achieves the cleaning task. The compact head supports careful placement, but excess fluid can still move under a component or into a joint.
Watch the fabric edge
Move away from burrs and abrupt edges where possible. A fabric head can catch on a sharp projection, changing its contact shape or leaving damaged material behind. Replace a head that becomes snagged, loose or visibly dirty.
Comparing the nearby foam option
The comparison image shows different head surfaces and profiles. A foam swab and this polyester swab can occupy a similar working area yet behave differently when wetted and compressed. Evaluate removal efficiency, residue after drying and the condition of the cleaned finish before standardising either tool.
