SU-408 is a high-tack adhesive cleaning stick with an ABS handle. Its tacky contact head is intended for local pickup of loose particles where a wiping motion is undesirable.
Lift particles with brief contact
The adhesive head collects particles by contact rather than by carrying cleaning solvent. Approach the target, touch lightly and lift away. Dragging the head across a surface can spread collected material or apply unnecessary shear to a coating.
High tack is a selection characteristic, not a universal advantage. A more adhesive head may be unsuitable for a fragile film, soft finish or loosely attached feature. Confirm the surface's contact restrictions and trial the complete method on a representative sample before use.
Inspect
Identify loose particles and distinguish them from scratches or bonded contamination.
Touch
Use minimal force and brief contact at the intended spot. Avoid rubbing or prolonged dwell.
Replace
Discard a loaded or contaminated head according to the process. Do not transfer it to another clean area.
Keep the tray protective
Take the stick by its handle and keep the head from touching the tray edge or glove. Agree the head geometry, working length and supply quantity with the order when the application has tight access requirements. Do not wet an adhesive head with an unapproved solvent, which can change its tack or leave residue.
