SU-188 is a low-tack adhesive cleaning stick on an ABS handle. It provides a local contact method for collecting loose particles while reducing the need to wipe across the surrounding surface.
Low tack still requires surface qualification
A low-tack head offers a different adhesion level from a high-tack stick. It does not guarantee that every coating or delicate assembly can tolerate contact. Evaluate particle pickup, any residue left behind and the condition of the finish under the intended force and dwell time.
Use a touch-and-lift motion
Place the head on the target particle with light pressure, then lift it away. Avoid sliding a loaded head across an optical or polished surface. If a mark remains, inspect it before repeating the action: bonded residue and physical damage cannot necessarily be removed by adhesive pickup.
Keep the contact head dry unless a specific approved procedure states otherwise. Cleaning fluid can alter adhesion or contaminate the surface, so this tool should not be treated as an ordinary wet swab.
At the workstation
Handle the stick by the ABS shaft and keep the tray closed between operations. Protect heads from airborne dust and accidental contact.
For repeat orders
Specify the required tack level and packing arrangement. Confirm the complete dimensions where a holder or access opening imposes a tight limit.
