Electrical performance, reprocessing and any protective-footwear rating require specification and supporting evidence for the selected construction.
Shoe size and construction can be customized to the operating requirements.
The backless shoe combines a covered toe with an open heel for convenient changing. Its ventilated upper and patterned sole suit an indoor footwear program where entry procedures and wearer comfort are both considered.
Check retention before choosing an open heel
Easy changing is useful at a footwear boundary, but the shoe must remain secure during the actual task. Trial walking, turning and stepping with the socks used at work. For frequent stair use or movements that lift the heel, compare the retention of a closed-heel design.
The floor and shoe work together
Anti-static footwear is one component of a personnel-grounding arrangement. Sole contamination, socks, insoles and the floor can affect the complete path. Establish the acceptance test and maintenance routine for the site rather than relying on the shoe's appearance.
Keep outdoor footwear outside the controlled route and clean the tread without leaving residues that impair contact. Anti-static designation does not mean electrical-insulating footwear, a protective toe cap or a certified slip rating; specify those needs separately where the task requires them.
