The absorption index has no stated unit or test method; it is not a percentage. The cleaning designation describes processing and is not a sterility claim.

MF68G is a wood-pulp-based wiping sheet for industrial cleanup and surface preparation. It offers another material weight within the MF range, allowing buyers to compare sheet handling and consumption on the same cleaning task before standardizing a purchase.
Choose around the deposit, not just the sheet
A broad film of liquid and a small patch of sticky residue call for different handling. The first needs controlled collection over an area; the second may need compatible chemistry before wiping. MF68G should be evaluated as part of that method rather than as a substitute for the correct cleaner.
For oil on an accessible equipment face, lift the bulk contamination with a fresh folded surface. Continue with clean material as needed, keeping contaminated faces folded away from the component. The application photograph shows a wiping action, not a laboratory comparison of oil pickup.
A heavier sheet is not a cleanliness certificate
Material weight and contamination performance are separate purchasing criteria. If the process needs a particle limit, low extractables or compatibility with a particular chemical, define that requirement independently of basis weight.
Protect the finishing operation
Inspect the surface once the liquid has dried and use the same lighting as the next production step. This helps reveal streaks or fibers that were difficult to see during wiping. Avoid using one sheet across unrelated assemblies where it could transfer a residue from one job to the next.
Make the pack work at the station
Use a pack quantity that fits the normal consumption and protection method. A large opened stack left beside a dusty process can defeat the purpose of selecting a controlled-use consumable. Keep reserve material sealed until it is needed.
What to include in the enquiry
Describe the contact surface, residue, cleaning liquid and desired sheet size. State any edge-treatment requirement explicitly, because the MF68G listing does not establish a particular sealed-edge construction. Required material or cleanliness reports should be identified before an order is finalized.
