HD-PN100G uses a 100 g/m² polyester/nylon wiping web. This fibre blend differs from the pulp-based grades and should be evaluated as a separate material choice for the stencil cleaning process.
A polyester/nylon construction within the roll range
HD-PN100G uses a polyester and nylon blend rather than the wood-pulp/polyester composition of the MS-MF and NB-MF products. It is a distinct wiping material for evaluation in automated SMT stencil cleaning. The change in fibre composition should be treated as a process choice, not only as a heavier version of another paper roll.
The continuous web passes through the underside cleaning assembly and carries collected residue onto the used roll. Stable contact, correct winding and a compatible mounting core remain necessary regardless of fibre type.
Do not infer absorption from basis weight alone
A higher mass per unit area does not define liquid uptake speed, retained liquid or behaviour with a particular cleaning fluid. Those properties depend on the fibre structure and the test conditions. Evaluate the actual fluid distribution and residue removal, then assess the following print under the existing production criteria.
The absorption figure in the specification is incomplete without its unit and method. It must not be used to calculate cleaning-fluid dosage or to rank this grade against other materials tested differently.
Check the effect of a material change on roll handling
At the same wound length, materials with different thicknesses can produce different outside diameters. Confirm cassette clearance and take-up capacity before ordering a converted roll. The core must also have the correct bore and end profile; the displayed tube diameter alone is not a complete spindle-fit drawing.
During a trial, inspect the web for tracking, creasing and damage. Check the stencil surface after the normal cleaning sequence and record any fluid remaining where the next board will contact it. Adjustments should follow the equipment and cleaning-fluid instructions, with one deliberate change at a time.
Choose by the production task
- Define the solder-paste residue and cleaning fluid to be used.
- Match the roll assembly to the exact printer and wiping cassette.
- Assess cleanliness and printing results using the site's acceptance criteria.
- Approve the material grade and converted dimensions together for repeat supply.
No cleanroom class, sterile status or certified particle-release value follows from the polyester/nylon blend alone. Where such evidence is required, include the required test method and acceptance limit in the purchase specification before supply.
Core profiles and converted roll details
Plain, single-slot, cross-slot and ribbed cores use different mounting arrangements. The photographs show available format types across the roll range. Confirm the selected construction, bore, end dimensions and winding position for the individual order.

Printer-family format guide
These format combinations are provided for checking conversion requirements. A printer brand can use several cleaning assemblies: verify the exact model and installed cassette before selecting a row. Dimensions are core length, core inner diameter, paper width and wound paper length; they do not specify the complete slot geometry or guarantee fit.
