Dimensions and configurations can be customized for your application.
Choose a straight-edge or angled-edge stainless housing to suit the ceiling interface and the way the room is cleaned.
Choose the housing around the ceiling junction
The straight and angled versions serve the same basic lighting task but meet the surrounding ceiling differently. A straight perimeter creates a compact rectangular edge. An angled perimeter can form a sloping transition that is easier to reach during routine wiping. The better choice depends on the panel system, installation depth and cleaning method.
Stainless steel is useful where the exposed housing is cleaned regularly. Its suitability still depends on the selected grade and cleaning chemistry. The diffuser, gasket and cable entry must be considered alongside the metal body; the housing alone does not establish the assembly's ingress protection.
Illuminate the work rather than just the ceiling
Plan fixture positions around benches, equipment and inspection tasks. A bright ceiling can still leave shadowed work surfaces when tall equipment blocks the light. Select diffuser and output to balance useful illumination with reflections from stainless steel worktops or glazed equipment.
Keep colour temperature consistent across a working area unless the process calls for a different arrangement. Where visual inspection is important, agree the colour-rendering and illumination requirements rather than choosing only by wattage.
Make routine access straightforward
Decide whether the light is serviced from inside the room or above the ceiling. Retained fixings reduce loose parts during opening, while replaceable drivers and light sources simplify future maintenance. Check that the ceiling can support the complete fixture and that the cable route remains accessible.
Ordinary room lighting does not filter air or disinfect surfaces. Housing shape, length, diffuser and electrical configuration can be customized for the installation and its cleaning routine.
