Dimensions and configurations can be customized for your application.
Use a recessed housing for a coordinated ceiling face, with the optical cover and lamp arrangement selected for the working area.
Choose the face for the room
The available configurations include a louvered multi-tube fitting and a covered recessed fitting. These should not be treated as equivalent where a sealed, wipeable ceiling surface is required. A louver controls the view of the lamps but exposes more surfaces to cleaning; a diffuser provides a continuous face when installed in a suitable housing.
Choose the optical arrangement around the task and cleaning regime. The number of tubes describes the source arrangement, not the quality of the finished lighting. Spacing, diffuser or reflector design and mounting height influence how the work area is illuminated.
A recess needs support and access
Coordinate the opening with the fixture body, supporting frame and surrounding ceiling construction. The luminaire must have appropriate support, and the installation should not compromise required ceiling sealing. Nominal module size is not an instruction to cut a hole of the same size.
Decide whether lamps and control gear will be reached from below or above. A cleanroom with no service ceiling needs a practical room-side maintenance arrangement. Protect the area below when opening the fixture and retain covers or fasteners so that loose parts do not enter the work area.
Maintain electrical compatibility during upgrades
When changing from fluorescent lamps to LED, check the ballast, wiring and approved replacement arrangement. A tube that fits the holder may still require a different circuit. Compare a documented conversion with a complete luminaire replacement.
Housing format, cover, lamp arrangement and service direction can be customized for the ceiling and the room's maintenance requirements.
