Fit the glove and sleeve together

The extended cuff provides overlap with a garment sleeve. Select a size that permits finger movement without loose material bunching around the fingertips. Excess tension at the thumb web or cuff can make donning difficult; an oversized glove can reduce control of small parts.

Fingertip texture helps provide a defined contact surface, but grip still depends on the handled material and whether it is wet. Evaluate the glove with the actual task and chemicals rather than assuming a universal chemical barrier.
